Undergraduate Volunteers

UCSD Undergraduate students!

Are you interested in a career in science, but don't really have an idea how working in a lab is like? Are you looking for lab experience and maybe even your own small research project?

The Bode lab usually has 2-3 UCSD Undergraduate Students working in the lab and helping us out with the day-to-day operations. You can learn how to prepare buffers and solutions, operate lab equipment from centrifuges and lyophilzer to FPLC and qPCR, isolate and analyze oligosaccharides or even work with human tissue cultures.

If you're interested, send your CV and a brief statement of interest to Annalee Furst.
